“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” – Augustine of Hippo

Hi There,

photo

Thank you for visiting my blog! I am Puspita, a pure Indonesian, a Public Relation practitioner, a friend, a sister, a daughter, an adventure seeker, a dreamer, a beach enthusiast (including scuba diving and keep improving my surfing skill) and whoever that my friends define me..

Some said amazing things happen when you are out of your comfort zone. I can’t agree more! Here I am until now.. on the Island of the Gods, Bali.. I know it’s still very near, less than 2h by plane from Jakarta (the place where I was born & grew up).. but still.. it is consider away from my so-called comfort zone..

I know it sounds cliche, but I am proud to be an Indonesian. Of course, the beautiful exotic paradise with some rich cultural heritages which never fails anyone who are living here and who comes here for a visit.. I hope you enjoy my blog like you enjoy your morning coffee/tea 😉

I would love to share to the world about how beautiful Indonesia is, especially Bali since I am living here at the moment. I started this blog when I realized whenever I posted about some places in Path, Instagram or Facebook, some of my friends especially the ones in Jakarta or back in KL always asked me where it is and they went to those places when they came to Bali. Then I was like, hey why don’t I just start blogging.

As a person who is not really into following the crowds, I personally would love to write mostly about the lovely and unique places which haven’t been exposed that much yet. That is my purpose of creating this blog anyways. For being different.

And of course, for the places recommendation, I won’t simply write about all the places that I visit. I will only choose to write the ones which have strong characteristics and unique. So don’t worry, It won’t be just some random things to write. No..no..

It pretty much will be about some of unique places by the rice fields, by the pure shores, right on top of the cliffs with the mind-blowing view, some brand new gelato shops, some cafe, resto, bar, etc with brilliant interior designs, the most beautiful & unique places as the excellent pre-wedding venue options, some water temples in the Eastern Bali, magnificent temples, a unique chocolate factory by Jasri beach until some surf spots with the friendly waves and stunning views and some amazing aquatic life around Bali, which are in My Bali Exploration menu.

Until what are the steps to learn surfing for the very first time, scuba diving, where to learn the qualified exotic tribal dance, belly dance, yoga and beautiful pole dance while in Bali and many more in Knowing Yourself Better by Arts menu.

Besides that, I also care to write about what is happening around us. Such as, the environmental issues, the wisdom for all of us from some accidents that happened which I put in Living an Island Life menu and my own opinion and point of view about some general stuff in The World Through My Eyes menu.

And also, a little bit of guide where you can find some outfit that fits when you go to the beach, some pretty casual dresses, accessories, lovely tops & shorts, cute bikinis and swimwears to get when you are here which I put in Island Outfit menu. So, yeah this is the brief about what my blog is all about and I try to make it knowledgeable yet fun at the same time!

If you are feeling curious right now, meaning this blog is definitely for you as the guidance during your stay in Bali! Happy reading!

From Bali with ♡,

Puspita

A Brief Story of The Author:

Let me tell you a little bit about me.. I was born under Taurus sign and I have been raised by the hands of a Queen and a King. Yes they are my beautiful parents.

All those times, well mostly, I had been feeling peaceful, safe and well protected. I was a happy-go-lucky kid, until now I think, and that’s like every single human being wishes to have. An ideal life. Until at my age of 19, I started to think what is it out there? How does it feel to be far away from home.. Far away from close friends that you have been knowing since you were kids.. Meeting new people.. Strangers to friends.. A cold unusual place to a home.. As a girl who has a kind of adventure soul, I need some excitements.. I get bored easily.. I get bored with routines.. I am not really into living a life that already can be predicted how it is gonna be..Then I decided to take my first move (yet not too far.. I know.. but still..) I moved to Kuala Lumpur pursuing my Bachelor Degree there.. Well, I ended up living there for 6 years, for studying and working too.

Moved back to my hometown after those years, I felt happy and glad to be home eventho it took time to recover since bunch of ups and downs memories, which I got mostly in KL, were still stuck in my heart for quite long time.. but still..I felt the warmth and loved backhome since I was born and raised there. Surrounded by lovely parents and many friends and everything you name it, I had it there..

But guess what? In less than a year I started to miss my little own adventures..I started to ask myself “What’s next?” Spending the life with mostly for work, going to the malls, cafe, clubs, bars, visiting new restaurants and bars with the creative and interesting interior designs, being consumptive because of the city social pressure, spending my time mostly get stuck in the traffic jam – my biggest problem in Jakarta (you know how Jakarta is).. For me, I won’t learn anything else about life, because it’s like living in the same circle of activities day by day.. which will be years by years.

One time I sat, drank my favorite long island tea and I thought about it.. I don’t wanna spend my entire life here.. Well, at least not now.. Not when I am still having a huge curiousity about life.. Not when I still want to experience something more than this.. something different than this.. And yes, here I am until now, in the paradise on earth, Bali!

As the philosopher in ancient times, Augustine of Hippo, said that those who do not travel, read only one page of the whole book, which is only the preface..

Enjoy the blog♡
